Franklin
London Town.
Where do I begin. Its been a crazy 72 hours of traveling, exploring, finding my way around the lovely city of London and checking into my dream esthetic hotel, The Franklin.
From the outside, the orange brick buildings surrounding the front of the hotel with its signature ‘Franklin Hotel’ flag hanging high, made me hug myself a little tighter, feeling like I was stepping into a postcard of London and getting to skip along the pavement of the city I’ve only had on my bucket list to visit for like 5 long years now.
Walking inside, you’re immediately lured in by the sophisticated, lux, and alluring decor. The grays, metallics and sexy lighting draws you in and transports you to another world of elegant living.

While my head was buzzing from the chaos of my first London Fashion week, I couldn’t help but to take a few more minutes to breathe and soak in the warm welcome of the staff and the much needed coffee. Sitting down for a bit and letting my poor little “this is my first European Fashion week” feet rest, I was able to really appreciate the details that the design team and hotel put into create an incredible experience for their guests. From the textures added in with the velvet chairs, to the mirrored bar and metallic toned accents, you get a sense of modern London with a touch of history.
Finishing up my third cup of expresso, I was reminded that we needed to get dressed for our next show, Leaf Xia. Being that we arrived a couple of hours before the check in time that Management at The Franklin was so kind to offer us our own dressing room in their spa which ended up looking like a huge closet after we were done deciding what outfits to wear for the show. Running fashionably late, (pun intended) we dashed out the door to finish up the last day of LFW .

I was woken up by my best friend, Layla whom I was so excited to bring with me to experience Fashion week along with being my little piece of sanity during the craziness. With tired eyes, I saw the familiar brick buildings, now a little less orange, since the sun has gone down but never the less I knew that I was home.
We were escorted to our Suite and told that our bags were brought up from the Spa. Stepping into the suite, I desperately resisted the urge to jump into bed and cocoon myself in the plush duvet. The suite was cozy, dimly lit, and beautiful. On the table, there was a little note from the staff welcome us. I took advantage of the bath tub that was calling my name and soaked off the fashion week aches.
Waking up, we packed our things and went downstairs for a late breakfast and one of the most amazing, ‘I will always remember this’ moments. The Chefs at the Franklin hotel prepared their signature Tea Time for us. With Earl Grey in hand, we were presented with a tier of sweets and mini delights and for a moment I forgot that we were leaving this amazing city for our next adventure in Ibiza.
I want to take a moment to thank the The Franklin London, Starhotels Collezione for accommodating us. Looking out of my taxi, to the waving hands and warm smiles of the staff and management, I can’t wait to be back in London again.
